Eighty-two persons deprived of liberty (PDLs), 53 of them senior citizens and 29 with comorbidities, at the San Ramon Prison and Penal Farm (SRPPF) in Zamboanga City have completed their vaccinations against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Also, eight SRPPF personnel got their second dose of the vaccines last July 1.
In a statement, SRPPF said that 65 other PDLs who are senior citizens and two others with comorbidities also got their first dose of the vaccines last July 2.
SRPPF expressed its gratitude to the “efforts of the Oficina De Salud and the Department of Health Region IX in providing vaccines for the welfare of our senior citizen PDLs and those with comorbidities as well.”
“This is a great manifestation that everyone is included in our one-nation approach in our fight against the COVID-19 pandemic,” it said.
