What once housed inside the plush interior of the Manila Hotel, Cowrie Grill is now a gem of a restaurant located at Promenade 3 Mall, Greenhills on Missouri Street. While it has its own space, being led by the grand hotel, the restaurant remains as one of the premiere food destinations in the metro for anyone looking for a great gastronomic experience.

As its name entails, the restaurant offers the best grilled dishes crafted by its chefs. The Cowrie Grill also prides itself for taking fine dining one step further. Diners can explore distinctively flavored steaks, as well as a tantalizing menu that includes main entrees, appetizers, healthy greens, and desserts.

The best way to start your food adventure at the Cowrie Grill is with its French Onion Soup or the Maitre D’ Caesar Salad. The salad is made with freshly prepared greens with crunch from romaine lettuce, croutons, generously drizzled in olive oil, cheese, and bacon complemented by the sweet and zesty Caesar salad dressing. To take it to the next level, pair the salad with the flavorful pan-seared scallops on mushroom risotto.

Not to be missed on its menu are the Surf and Turf set duo of Pitik Lobster Thermidor (fresh slipper lobster) and US Angus Beef Tenderloin with baked garlic and garden vegetables. For carnivores out there, go for US Angus Beef Rib, US Angus Chateaubriand, and certified Angus Beef Tomahawk (best shared by two) are sure to satisfy anyone’s meat cravings. A perfect complement to these eats are the restaurant’s fine selections of red wines and cocktails.
