The Bulacan Provincial Health Office (PHO) has recorded 113 new cases of the COVID-19 on Thursday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the province to 41,121.

The PHO said that out of the total 41,121 COVID-19 cases, 39,374 (96 percent) have recovered, 858 (2 percent) are active cases with 60 admitted in the hospitals, 124 in Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facilities (TTMF), while 674 or 79 percent are under home isolation.

The PHO also reported that it has recorded 18 deaths from July 2-7, bringing the total number of COVID-related deaths to 889.

The figures represent 96 percent of the total 41,121 infections in the province.

Governor Daniel R. Fernando commended health workers, frontliners, and all Bulakenyos for following the minimum health standards which has contributed to the decline in the number of COVID-19 cases in the province.

But he warned his constituents not to be complacent because of emerging new variants of COVID-19.
