Thus, Alisah has more than enough reason to be upbeat with her latest digital single “Kahit Di Totoo.” For one, it is a song written by someone associated with scoring surefire hits and legendary on his own merit: Vehnee Saturno.
The said song, produced by the singer’s ever-supportive talent managing group RJA Productions, led by its no-nonsense head Rosabella Jao-Arribas, is set to be dropped in digital stores July 9 (Friday).
“Para sa akin, love is sacrifice at ibig sabihin ay kaya mong tanggapin ‘yung ayaw mo sa isang tao,” implied the hitmaker when discussing his new composition which all lovestruck martyrs out there should find relatable.
Both Alisah and her USA based-lady manager met with the country’s highly acknowledged prolific songwriter prior to the pandemic. The fruition of this dream song project proved again that not even a global health crisis can stop a beautiful collaboration between a brilliant songwriter and an astounding voice from happening.
Alisah laid in her vocals for “Kahit Di Totoo” last May 31 at Wild Grass Recording Studios in Quezon City with the tried-and-tested Dante Tañedo on the mixing console and topnotch Arnie Mendaros serving as the young singer’s vocal coach. She's always comfortable working with people who trust each other. Her previous release, "Pangako," was her much-awaited duet with labelmate and friend Myko Mañago.
For the new piece, the singer happily shared, “I feel very blessed po na I was given the opportunity to interpret a composition by sir Vehnee. Malaking bagay po ito sa akin and I can say na naipakita ko sa recording ng kantang ito ang aking soft side like never before. Usually po I would use my head voice. But in this track nagamit ko po ng
mahusay ang aking natural voice.
Vehnee is a firm believer that it only takes one hit song for an artist to reach the status one can only dream about. Well, he has the big names and great song titles to prove it: Martin Nievera with “Be My Lady,” Ariel Rivera with “Sana Kahit Minsan,” Jessa Zaragoza with “Bakit Pa?”, Jay R with "Bakit Pa Ba?," among many others. He has real high hopes that Alisah's reputation as a “konteserang walang kaba” can lead her to farther places.

started writing songs herself as she plans to record a tune of her own sometime in the future. But probably not until she gets to do more lined-up gems from iconic tunesmiths like Mr. Saturno and Cecile Azarcon who penned one of her last year's strong releases, "Faithful."
