Charlie Dizon is ready for more daring roles

She wowed many on "Fan Girl," displaying acting chops far beyond her years.

That's not to say Charlie Dizon has shown everything she can there, acting-wise.

In a recent interview, the 25-year-old said she is more than ready and willing to accept fresh, new challenges, eager as she is to push boundaries for art's sake.

She is open even to more daring roles.

Well, if it's the right material, of course.

"I'm an actress so, whatever is needed to serve a story, I will gladly do," she said.

She added, "I think it all depends on the material, really. If a said 'daring' scene is needed, then yeah, why not?"

Being among more successful actresses of her generation, fielding offers left and right, we could only imagine, we asked Charlie if she ever felt everything is happening too fast, too soon for her.

She said, "Sometimes I do feel overwhelmed but I cannot complain. I'd rather be grateful. I mean, not everyone gets the same opportunity given to me and I feel like I'm just so blessed so, really, I'd rather be grateful more than anything else."

Charlie is soon to be seen in "My Sunset Girl" along with Jameson Blake, Joem Bascon and Mylene Dizon, among others.

Directed by Andoy Ranay as produced by Dreamscape Entertainment, "My Sunset Girl" starts streaming on  iWant TFC, July 14.
