Seven foods that can help kids grow taller and stronger


Many parents are concerned with helping their children grow to the optimum height for their age. While height is usually determined by genes, several studies have discovered that food also influences a person’s height, especially during their growing years. 

Here are seven foods that play a role in helping kids grow to their ideal height requirements:

1. Carrots

Aside from being delicious and suitable for almost any dish, carrots are packed with vitamins B, C, and K, biotin. It also has several health benefits like improving the immune system and eyesight.

2. Eggs

Since they’re full of protein, eggs act as a building block in a child’s physical growth, making them an important part of their diet. The protein available in eggs helps in building, developing, and maintaining muscles as well as tissues in the body. Eating eggs can also help kids stay full and improve their concentration. 

3. Green leafy vegetables

Kids aren’t the only ones who can benefit from consuming leafy green vegetables. Adults who consume green leafy vegetables daily can get a supply of calcium which is known to strengthen bones.

4. Nuts

There’s a belief that giving children nuts will help boost brain power. But aside from that, nuts are also rich in omega-3 fatty acids that are beneficial for kids’ bones.

5. Soybeans
