Veteran support Ralph Richard "RR" Peñano shone the brightest with his Winter Wyvern as Execration pulled off a 2-1 reverse sweep over fellow Filipino team OB x Neon Esports and continued its lower bracket run in The International 10 Southeast Asia Qualifier on Friday, July 2.

RR came through with crucial saves through the Cold Embrace enhanced by Holy Locket as well as perfectly-timed Winter's Curse in the crucial team fights of the do-or-die Game 3.

His big-time Winter's Curse on John Anthony "Natsumi-" Vargas' Wraith King won Execration the all-important clash to secure Roshan in the 50th minute before they went on to close out the winner-takes-all game in 55 minutes with a 38-24 scoreline.

The 26-year-old pro also kept Yuri "Yowe" Pacaña's Leshrac alive to dish out his magic nukes in prolonged team fights as he finished with 22 assists to go with five kills against six deaths.

Position-4 support Carlo "BDz" Manalo's Mirana also stepped up with 11 kills and 24 assists against three deaths while carry Jinn "Palos" Lamatao's Lifestealer racked up 12-2-13 kill-death-assist.

It was Palos' fiery Luna who took charge in Game 2 and tied the series for Execration after Jaunuel "Jaunuel" Arcilla's Rubick led OB.Neon's comeback in Game 1.

Execration advanced to the best-of-three lower bracket semifinals where it will take on the winner between Boom Esports and Galaxy Racer later on.

Neon, the top six finisher in the ONE Esports Singapore Major, crashed out of the qualifier and bid goodbye to its TI10 hopes.
