Here's what the collection is about

Avon Philippines' #ComeAsYouAre campaign

Although Pride Month ends on the last day of June, for many queer folks and allies, its purpose and fight continue until there are no marginalized individuals and communities left behind. In support of their ongoing battle, lifestyle brand Avon Philippines welcomes the month of July with a release of a gender-neutral collection focusing on undergarments.

Dubbed as "Limitless," the intimate apparel collection erases gender norms put on underwear with its sporty, chic pieces that everyone can wear, even without added clothing. It features pieces like the Andy Ultra Stretch Support Top and Boxers that suit "every body, every gender, and every personality."

"With our new gender-neutral underwear and thoughtful designs, we're ready to give you the support you need—from tops that hug all kinds of chests up to boxers that won't put you in a box," the brand posted.

To help send its inclusive message across, the "Limitless" line tapped action leaders and creatives such as makeup artist Slo, artist Pat Cortez, Miss Trans Global 2020 Mela Habijan, DJ Mike Lavarez, among others, for its #ComeAsYouAre campaign.

Throughout the pandemic, the local fashion scene has embraced the idea of genderless fashion by creating pieces that resonate to both the needs and wants of cis-gender and non-binary individuals. Filipino fashion movers like Kyle Cruz, founder of clothing label Cruz, and noted fashion designer Francis Libiran have put a couture-like twist on the new dressing manner, while many local creatives used the gender-fluid style as a form of protest.
