However, Robles said because of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic since 2020, instead of conducting early Christmas party for the children, Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano ordered that the bags of goods be distributed to all barangay health workers with small children and at the barangay nutrition center.

Rubiano thanked the Rotary Club of Makati Gems headed by president Richard Carino in bringing happiness to children in the city through the early Christmas gift-giving.

The mayor received a total of 300 bags of good containing children’s books, fruit cocktails, vitamins, candies, chocolate, bread and hygiene kits for distribution to 13 health centers intended for health workers with small children and to 25 personnel working at the barangay nutrition center.
