The Mass will be held at 6 p.m.at the Manila Cathedral in Intramuros, Manila.

"The Holy Mass will be celebrated in the presence of our newly installed Archbishop His Eminence Cardinal Jose F. Advincula," the Manila Cathedral said in a Facebook post Sunday, June 27.

It was September last year when Pope Francis appointed Brown as Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines.

Brown replaced Archbishop Gabriele Caccia, who now heads the Holy See’s Permanent Observer Mission in the United Nations in New York.

Archbishop Brown arrived in Manila in November.

The Archdiocese of Manila said the Church celebrates Pope’s Day in honor of the Supreme Pontiff’s many contributions to the enrichment of Catholic faith.
