Dina Bonnevie recalls experiences with 'unprofessional' actors

Veteran actress Dina Bonnevie admitted to having met and worked with a few bad eggs in her decades-long showbiz career.

Unlike most, however, she would actually confront these personalities.

"Well, I'm too open. I'm black and white. I don't have grey. I say what I feel. I'm not 'plastic.' Yes, usually in the beginning I'll try and get along with him or her but when I can't take it anymore, I have to tell that person how I feel," she explained during a recent interview.

And what does she tell them?

"I tell them, 'If you want to last in the industry you have to be professional. Don't do this. Be mindful of your co-workers because you're not the only one working. We are all affected of the production.'"

What gets her goat the most are actors who come to the set unprepared.

"Naku, especially those who don't know their lines! I hate that. Kung hindi ka marunong mag makeup, mag style ng hair, okay lang, kasi hindi mo yun trabaho pero if you fail memorizing your lines and then you always arrive late, naku, mortal sin 'yun for me!"

Thankfully, she didn't experience such in GMA Telebabad's highly-anticipated drama "The World Between Us."

The star of the show is Alden Richards and Dina only has praises for him.

"Malayo si Alden du'n sa iba kung nakasama kasi hindi siya pasaway. Ito laging on time," she said.

Dina actually requested GMA that she be cast in a show with Alden.

Why?

Apparently, the 29-year-old made a mark on Dina after they met several years back.

"Hindi ko pa siya kilala non, lumapit siya at nagpakilala. Sabi ko, 'Sino ito? Ang galang.' Naintriga ako."

She now counts herself among Alden's fans.
