Indulge in a gastronomical experience while rediscovering history, heritage, and art
Along the bustling Roxas boulevard rests Palacio de Memoria, committed to showcase Filipino culture, arts, and history—a picturesque mansion restored by the Lhuillier family.
By this time, everyone knows that going out on solo trips or dates are rare because of community quarantine restrictions. But, if there’s a chance, why not revel in some alone time or, better yet, spend time with some of your good friends over a delectable meal and an exclusive tour of the beautifully restored, pre-war mansion, located right at the heart of Metro Manila.
In order to capture the over-all experience, guests will not only get to enjoy the tour of Palacio, they can also indulge in a delightful gastronomical experience as they dine at Palacio de Memoria’s newest amenity, The Loggia by 2016 Asia’s Best Female Chef, Margarita Forés.
“While spending time at home has become the new normal for many, we encourage them to try the tour and our food at The Loggia. They can safely dine al fresco and immerse themselves in our rich culture with a private tour of the grounds,” says Camille Lhuillier-Albani, Palacio de Memoria general manager.
Promo packages start at P750, which includes the Palacio tour, as well as tramezzini prosciutto with tomato and basil, to be paired with refreshing iced tea. There are also packages priced at P1,000 and P1,500 which includes additional dishes from the Loggia itself. If you’re going with family, friends, or people from out of town, Palacio is also offering a package for a group of 10 people for just P10,000.
Visitors will definitely get a chance to capture Instagram-worthy moments in amenities such as the Red Room, the Front and Back Garden, as well as the Mosphil Lounge, a retrofitted plane for events.
I must say, just by walking along the painstakingly decorated halls is an experience in itself. Should you wish to rediscover history, heritage, and art, this restored pre-war mansion is a must visit.
