Ex-Senator Jinggoy on PNoy's death: Let’s honor his life, leadership, sacrifices

Former Senator Jinggoy Estrada has called on the public to honor the life, leadership, and sacrifices of former President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III.

The former president died at a hospital in Quezon City on Thursday (June 24, 2021).

“I am one with the nation in mourning this loss. Let us honor the life, leadership, and sacrifices he shared to the nation,” Estrada said in a Facebook post accompanied by the photo of the former president.

The former senator has also sent his condolences to the Aquino family.

“Ako ay lubos na nakikiramay sa pamilya ni dating Pangulong Noynoy Aquino (I deeply sympathize with the family of former President Noynoy Aquino),” he said.

Aquino was the 15th president of the country who championed the “Daang Matuwid” campaign, and scored a landmark ruling against China’s aggressive claims in the West Philippine Sea.

The former president passed away at the age of 61.
