Execration has officially parted ways with its championship-winning Mobile Legends team led by veteran Billy "Z4pnu" Alfonso, confirming rumors and vlogs about the fan-favorite organization's absence in the upcoming MPL Philippines Season 8.

The established Filipino esports organization is currently helping Z4pnu and his crew find a new org to represent.

"Due to unfortunate circumstances, we are supporting the current Execration ML team in finding an ideal organization where they can continue to thrive and find success," the respected Filipino esports organization said in an official statement on Wednesday, June 23.

"Once an agreement is finalized, we will make an official announcement on the next organization that will continue their journey," it added.

The organization was grateful to Z4pnu and his team featuring Joshua "Ch4knu" Mangilog, Patrick "E2MAX" Caidic, Duane "Kelra" Pillas, Kiel VJ "Kielvj" Hernandez, Renz "Renzio" Cadua and coach Jomie "Pakbet" Abalos for their achievements especially in the previous season as well as the relationship they built with them.

Execration seized a runner-up finish in the MPL-PH Season 7 before ruling the Mobile Legends Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) 2021, both achieved through astounding lower bracket runs.

"As an organization, we could not be any prouder of the successes our Execration Mobile Legends team have earned, especially from the results of the last MPL and MSC season."

"Accolades aside, we pride ourselves as an organization that builds meaningful and supportive relationships with each of our players as a family would. And at the end of the day, this is what's most important for us."

Z4pnu earlier revealed through a vlog on his YouTube channel last Monday night that they are set to play for a new organization.

In a succeeding vlog on Tuesday night, the charismatic ML personality in the country bared that Execration's busy schedule not just of its MLBB team but also its Dota 2 squad hampered its plans of buying a slot in the MPL-PH Season 8 which is reported and rumored to adopt a franchise-based model like what MPL Indonesia did two years ago.

"Na-late si boss (Arvin Risos) nang bili kasi sobrang busy sa mga tournaments. Nawala sa isip. Syempre naka-focus siya sa Dota. Nasa Europe siya, 'di niya rin maasikaso," said Z4pnu, referring to Execration's recent campaign in the WePlay AniMajor--the second Dota 2 Major this year--in Kiev, Ukraine.

"Syempre kami 'di rin namin naasikaso. Nag-MSC kami... Kumbaga ubos na 'yung oras," he added.
