Celebrity Anne Curtis has urged Makati City residents like her to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

She made the call after receiving her first vaccine shot at Palanan Elementary School on Tuesday (June 22).

“I would just like to encourage you na magparehistro na po para magpabakuna (to register and get vaccinated),” she said.

“This is for yourself, your family, and all your loved ones during this time to make sure you stay safe and you stay healthy. So sana po ay magparehistro na at magpabakuna,” the celebrity added.

The city is not allowing walk-ins at vaccination sites, that is why Makati residents have to register.

Mayor Abigail “Abby” Binay said they are not allowing walk-ins in order to strictly implement social distancing and other health and safety protocols at vaccination sites.

To register, the local government said, interested individuals must go to www.proudmakatizen.com and click the COVID-19 vaccination icon.
