Police Staff Sgt. Wilson M. Pascua, investigator-on-case, identified the victim as Trinidad Serrano.
Serrano was found dead by his son Marwin.
Trinidad’s family reported to the police that on Saturday night, the victim said he was tired of living because of his illness. His family also said that he did not even want to put his oxygen mask.
At 5 a.m. the following day, Marwin noticed that his father was already awake and had opened the windows and doors of their house which was his daily routine.
Marvin later heard a gunshot from his father’s room and found him lying lifeless on his bed with a bullet wound in the neck and a gun beside his body.
Police recovered one fired caliber .45 cartridge case and a deformed slug of the same caliber.
