The BTS Army was touched by Benjamin Baetiong's thank you post on Facebook.

Delivery rider Benjamin Baetiong with BTS meals

Delivery rider Benjamin Baetiong thanked BTS Army through a Facebook post yesterday for the non-stop order.

This simple thank you post was appreciated by a BTS fan, with username @therealkittenwp on Twitter, and initiated to raise funds for the rider with hashtag #ARMYMealProject. “In light of the toxicity we face as a fandom towards some food delivery riders, this manong @foodpandaPH rider stood out the most,” the fan wrote.

Originally aiming for at least P7,000, the project was able to raise P45,230.77 as of this early morning. The fans plan to meet Benjamin to personally hand over the donations.

Last night, the Food Panda delivery rider expressed his gratitude to the BTS Army once more because according to Benjamin the donations will be a great help to his father who is sick.

In another post, he thanked McDonald’s head of public relations Adi Timbol Hernandez, Baler branch brand manager Aileen Jimenez-Peñaverde, and their crew for sending BTS Meal in recognition of his effort. And lastly, he thanked the Black Nazarene for the unexpected blessings.
