DepEd added that the “DBM will process the revised submitted documents of DepEd Region IV-B and VII” on Monday (June 21).
In a statement issued June 16, Education Secretary Leonor Briones said that DepEd and the DBM are “fast-tracking” the release of 2019 PBB for all teaching and eligible non-teaching personnel of agency.
“Even before the pandemic, we have constantly communicated with the DBM and AO25 IATF to ensure that our teachers and personnel will receive benefits and allowances due to them,” Briones said. “They have been working tirelessly in delivering quality education and service amidst the challenges of the pandemic,” she added.
DepEd explained that the PBB is an “incentive given to government employees in accordance with their performance and contribution to the accomplishment of their agency’s overall targets and commitments.”
