Over 100,000 individuals vaccinated against COVID-19 in Pasig City


More than 100,000 individuals have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine in Pasig City, the local government announced on Wednesday (June 16).

Based on the data of the city government, a total of 104,231 individuals have been given the first dose of the vaccine as of June 14.

Meanwhile, 43,061 individuals are now fully vaccinated after they have been given the second dose of the vaccine.

“As of June 14, 2021 (Monday), 147,292 COVID-19 vaccines have already been deployed to cover the vaccination of eligible individuals under DOH-identified priority groups A1 to A4,” the local government of Pasig said.

The vaccines given to residents were CoronaVac Sinovac (104,217), Oxford AstraZeneca (31,027), Pfizer BioNTech (11,696), and Gamaleya Sputnik V (352).

Per the data of Pasig City, a total of 14,998 workers in frontline health services or those under the A1 vaccination priority category received the first dose, while 10,917 already received the second dose.

A total of 36,031 senior citizens who fall under the A2 vaccination category already received the first dose. On the other hand, 18,566 elders received the second dose which is more than half of those who got the first dose.

Meanwhile, 47,960 individuals under the A3 vaccination priority category or adults with comorbidities have received the first dose, 13,578 of them already got the second dose.

For Economic frontlines or those under the A4 category, 5,242 of them got the first dose. None so far received the second dose.
