The city allowance for solo parents and persons with disability (PWDs) in Manila will be released this week, Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso said on Tuesday (June 15).
In his regular live update, Domagoso said he and Vice Mayor Honey Lacuna have signed the release of the P3,000 allowance for solo parents and PWDs covering the months of January, 2021 to June, 2021.
The allowance received per month of solo parents and PWDs is P500.
The mayor said P65,319,000 will be distributed to 21,773 PWDs in the city, while a total of P15,477,999 will be given to 5,159 solo parents in Manila.
Domagoso said the distribution of the social amelioration or city allowance will be done by the Manila Department of Social Welfare on Wednesday (June 16) or Thursday (June 17).
