141, 812 Parañaque City residents get COVID-19 jab


The Parañaque City government said a total of 141,812 residents were already vaccinated in the city’s vaccination program from March 5 to June 14.

The city government posted on the Facebook page of Mayor Edwin Olivarez that from the total of 141,812 individuals, 103, 847 received their first dose and 37, 965 were fully vaccinated.

Olivarez also asked the city residents to register at oneparanaque.net and be part of the city government’s “Maging Bakunado, Protektadong Paranaqueno” vaccination program.

The City Health Office said a total of 47, 913 persons who belong to the A3 category (adult with comorbidities) already received their first dose of vaccines and 17,843 were already fully vaccinated.

At the start of the city’s vaccination, those who are under the A4 category or the economic frontline workers, a total of 13,968 persons received their first dose vaccines and 850 were fully vaccinated.

The city government will continue to conduct the mobile vaccination program under the Paranaque External and Homeowners Affairs led by Ospital ng Paranaque 1 & 2 medical director, Dr. Jefferson Pagsisihan.

The city government also launched AEFI Diary on June 11 that will serve as a diary of residents who were vaccinated and monitoring by the city government on the possible adverse effects following immunization.

Olivarez urged residents to scan the QR code posted on his Facebook page and report to him immediately if anyone suffers adverse effects after getting the vaccine at 88267464 or 88292808.
