Metrobank, GT Capital Group provide vaccines to employees


Metrobank and GT Capital Holdings Inc. Group are expecting 400,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines that will be made available for employees of each of the Ty-led group of companies, which includes Toyota Motor Philippines, Federal Land, AXA Philippines, Philippine Savings Bank among others.

The vaccination program will be rolled out in the 3rdquarter of 2021, and will be administered by the Group-owned Manila Doctors Hospital, and ActiveOne Health, Inc., a leading corporate clinic and wellness services management.

‘We are looking forward to seeing the economy bounce back, so this vaccination program will increase the protection for the health of our employees.” says Gerboy Ortega,Head of Metrobank’s Human Resources ManagementGroup. “In keeping with our commitment to be the goodhands that our people can depend on, we will prioritize all our frontliners and those with comorbidities,” adds Ortega.

While we continuously implement strict health protocols to protect both employees and customers, this program will further ensure safety of everyone including their family members at home.

“The multi-million peso funds we have released to support short-term relief and recovery assistance to affected sectors will now include the group's assistance in the procurement of COVID-19 vaccines and free inoculation for employees,” adds Dee.
