Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray celebrated Philippine Independence Day by imparting a lesson to her followers.
On her social media accounts, Gray wrote: "The fight for freedom and independence is a constant and enduring one. Today let's not just look back on history but instead ask ourselves how we are playing a part in writing our future."
"Happy Independence Day my beloved Pilipinas," Catriona added.
The beauty queen-singer also reiterated how everyone is "free" to register and vote.
Catriona encouraged the public to register before the deadline on Sept 30.
