Eight suspected members of the Abu Sayyaf Group who are accused of murder and kidnapping were arrested during law enforcement operations in Barangay Bus-Bus Jolo, Sulu last Friday, June 11.
Combined police and military units used information provided by anonymous tipsters in serving warrants of arrest for Murder and Double Attempted and Frustrated Murder to the eight suspects.
The suspects were identified as Sansibar Bensio, 38; Muayyar Binda, 32; Alim Ahir Sukarno, 26; Ramil Morhin aka Ben, 18; Sanchez Amang aka Sanchez Mohammad, 58; Lugah Muhajirin Samsula, 37; Bunjiar Muhajirin Samsula, 35 and Ferdaus Muhajirin Omar, 19.
The suspects were brought to the Provincial Headquarters of Sulu Provincial Police Office for disposition.
PRO-BAR Regional Director P/ Brig. General Eden T. Ugale commended the operating units for their accomplishment.
