Former GOT7 member Bambam recently clarified rumors hinting at a feud between former members of GOT7 and Park Jinyoung, the CEO of their former label JYP Entertainment.

It can be recalled that early this year, members of GOT7 opted not to renew their contracts with JYP Entertainment. However, prior to the announcement, there was some drama involving Park Jinyoung unfollowing several GOT7 members.

After netizens noticed that JYP unfollowed GOT7 members and their official social media account, the members also unfollowed their former boss and even deleted photos with him on their accounts. It did not take long for netizens to believe that there was a feud brewing in the background. Aghases, the fandom of GOT7, previously called out the label for not handling the group’s promotions better. It came as no surprise, left the label.

Now that Bambam is signed under Abyss, he said that there was no bad blood between the members and JY Park. He said he recently had dinner with the JYP CEO where they even talked about collaborating with each other.

He said that he will never forget his history with JYP Entertainment. He said that when Park Jinyoung talked to him, he felt like he just graduated from JYP and was venturing out on a new adventure.

He also clarified why they unfollowed each other on social media.

“Oh, PD-nim(JY Park) unfollowed me first – by accident. I asked him about that while having KBBQ. He said he had no idea. He’s not that savvy with Instagram. I deleted the picture because I felt a bit salty – and I told him that. He laughed at me so hard. So I want everyone to know now, there’s no beef there. I am always and forever welcome at JYP to eat at the organic restaurant they have there. I’ve got unlimited access,” he said.

Bambam is slated to release his solo album ‘riBBon’ on June 15.
