“I attribute this to the concerted efforts of the San Juaneño people to follow health protocols and our local government’s intensified vaccination program in San Juan,” Zamora said in his Facebook post.

Meanwhile, Zamora shared that more than 33,000 San Juaneños have been vaccinated against the dreaded virus.

“As of today, we have already vaccinated a total of 33,736 San Juaneños, which represents 40% of the 85,400 people we are targeting to be vaccinated for us to be able to reach herd immunity in San Juan,” the mayor said.

Zamora urged his constituents and business owners to register for the city’s vaccination program and be protected against COVID-19.
