Teodoro, in an interview with CNN Philippines, said the city is expecting to have a “steady supply” of vaccines around June 14.

“The reason why we’re looking at June 14 is that by June 14, we’re expecting a very steady supply of vaccines that we can vaccinate based on the target that we have sent,” he said.

The Marikina mayor said the city aims to inoculate 5,000 to 7,500 individuals per day by June 14 to achieve its target of 260,000 vaccinated individuals.

So far, the city has vaccinated 95,000 individuals.

The city is also planning to open four additional sites to hasten its vaccination.

Teodoro did not specify the date as to when Marikina will start the vaccination of those who are under A4, but said the city received vaccines on Wednesday (June 9) morning and is planning to deploy these to A4 vaccinees.
