This was made possible after Makati City partnered with Ayala Corporation and Glorietta for “Bakuna Makati.”

“ June 10, 2021, 10 a.m., Makati will open its vaccination site at Glorietta 5,” the LGU said in an advisory.

Per the city, those who will get the COVID-19 jabs are residents who have registered under the A4 category.

Makati City is not allowing walk-ins in order to strictly observe social distancing at vaccination sites.

The LGU said that health and safety protocols will be strictly imposed.

On June 3, Mayor Abigail “Abby” Binay said that private firms setting up vaccination sites are required by the city to abide by the standard of the Department of Health.

Under City Ordinance No. 2021-094 (COVID-19 Vaccination Site Standardization Protocol and Registration Process), private entities that want to apply for their vaccination site registration must submit the requirements to the Office of the City Administrator together with their contact information.

As of June 8, Makati City has a total of 609 active cases of COVID-19.
