Prior to making a life-changing decision, Restless Talent (RT) was offered a challenging role for a future project. The role could make critics notice her and award-winning bodies to give the recognition that would boost her career.
However, nothing was definite at that point. The pandemic hit hard and companies needed to rethink their strategies. RT then consulted Important Senior (IS). RT expressed her interest in the project, and IS presented her practical insights. IS said that the project was still up in the air, as the management has yet to finalize production details.
Besides, the possibility is high that RT might be given a low talent fee. RT took the advice of IS and moved on with her life. Later, RT found out that the project was in the planning stage and casting was being finalized. RT then approached her contacts to remind them that the role was broached to her in the past.
RT learned that the production was under strict instructions to include talents in the fold. Further, she was told to go through the Proper Channel (PC), who will make the possible negotiations on her behalf.
PC raised her case to the production heads. However, PC was informed that a talent was already chosen. The disappointing news did not stop RT to elevate her interest to the Big Boss (BB). BB forwarded RT’s request to Other Big boss (OB). Upon reading the request, OB simply rolled her eyes.

Misinterpreted Lines
After undergoing many trials together, A Talent (AT) shocked the production team with a pronouncement that made them question if all was indeed well in front of and behind the cameras.
To comfort AT, her friends asked her if she’s okay and said she was just emotional at that moment, but she has moved on. Still, her declaration sparked discussion within the production and even among fans because AT did not reveal any names. Surprisingly, the root of the matter seemed to be an incident that was overheard by a Production Staff (PS).
PS overheard Other Talent (OT) telling writers that AT’s expressions were hard to cope with. In short, the slowness of OT to catch the wit thrown by AT might result in an unsatisfactory exchange of lines. OT thus requested not to be partnered with AT and suggested partnering AT with Quick Responder (QR). QR can catch the punchline in the lamest and corniest lines, anyway. It was more of ‘it’s not you, it’s me’ on the side of OT.
OT perhaps only wanted what would be better for the program. PS told the story to AT. Even if PS said that OT had good intentions, AT took OT’s statements negatively. Sometime ago, OT allegedly gave tokens of appreciation. AT was not given one, as things were still temporary.
It’s not the object, but the idea that OT had not yet recognized the presence of AT that could have started the whiff of awkwardness.
