A slew of new orders from the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) was released that would, among others, pave the way for the return of more Filipinos and special residents to the country.

The national vaccination program also got a huge boost after the United States announced that the Philippines will be among the recipients of about 25 million in vaccines it will be donating.
