Mandaluyong LGU changes vaccination venue due to bad weather


The Mandaluyong City local government announced on Wednesday that the vaccination for some of its residents who are about to take their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine has been moved to a new location as bad weather is still expected in Metro Manila.

"Dahil sa masamang panahon at para hindi maantala ang pagbabakuna, inilipat ang venue para sa lahat ng nabakunahan ng AstraZeneca noong Marso 25 at 26.

Ang inyong pagbabakuna ng second dose ay sa SM Megamall mega vaccination center (Megatrade Hall 1-3, 5L Mega B) sa Hunyo 4, 2021 (Biyernes), 9:00 AM-5:00 PM (Due to bad weather and to avoid delays in vaccination, the venue for those who are about to receive their second dose of AstraZeneca vaccine (people vaccinated last March 25 and 26) has been transferred to the SM Megamall mega vaccination center (Megatrade Hall 1-3, 5L Mega B) on June 4, 2021 (Friday), 9:00 A.M.- 5:00 P.M.)." the LGU said in its Facebook post.

The LGU also reminded those to be vaccinated to bring their vaccination card and valid ID.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said that tropical storm "Dante" is moving north northwest, away from land, at 35 km/h early Thursday morning, June 3.
