In Central Visayas, the partial damage brought on roads and flood-control structures amounted to P106.2 million. Over in Region 12, flood-control structures alone incurred P162.32 million in damages.

Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark A. Villar said that 270 equipment assets and 1,569 workers were deployed to conduct massive clearing activities.

Villar also bared that clearing operations have been launched at three impassable national road sections in the provinces of Cebu, Eastern Samar, and Agusan del Sur.

In Cebu, a section of the Dalaguete-Mantalongon-Badian Road in Barangay Ablayan, Dalaguete, is still flooded. Warning signs have been installed in the area, with the clearing operations set to start once the water has subsided.

A section of the Wright-Taft-Borongan Road in Barangay Binaloan, Taft, Eastern Samar has been closed due to possible landslides.

The Butuan City-Talacogon-Loreto-Veruela-Sta. Josefa Road is also impassable, specifically the Adgawan Bridge in La Paz, Agusan del Sur. This is due to embanked soil collapse on bridge approach.

Motorists may use the parallel bridge as an alternative route while the bridge is being repaired.
