84 SRPPF inmates get COVID-19 vaccines

Eighty-four persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) at the San Ramon Prison and Penal Farm (SRPPF) in Zamboanga City were vaccinated against the coronavirus disease COVID-19) last Wednesday, June 2.

In a statement, SRPPF said the vaccination program dubbed “Resbakuna” was done with the help of the Zamboanga City Health Office.

“A total of fifty-four (54) SC (senior citizen) PDLs received their first dose of vaccines,” it said.

“A total of seven (7) personnel and thirty (30) PDLs also received their first dose of vaccination,” it added.

It expressed its gratitude to the Health Office of Zamboanga City “for prioritizing the PDLs and personnel of San Ramon Prison and Penal Farm as one of their eligible group for the vaccines.”
