PAGASA said tropical storm “Dante” (international name “Choi-wan”) is now off the southwestern coast of Masbate and is heading towards the vicinity of Romblon.
Dante has maintained its maximum sustained winds of 65 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gustiness of up to 90 kph while moving west-northwestward at 25 kph.
The location of its center was estimated over the western coastal waters of Balud, Masbate at around 4 a.m.

PAGASA said tropical storm Dante made its second landfall over Cataingan, Masbate at 1 a.m., June 2.
It has maximum sustained winds of 65 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 90 kph while moving west-northwestward at 20 kph.
