Did you know Vera Wang promised to design the pop star's wedding dress years before she tied the knot?
A week after Ariana Grande announced the news of her marriage to real estate agent Dalton Gomez, the pop star now releases photos of her intimate nuptials at her home in Montecito, California. And we have our eyes set on her wedding dress.
According to Vogue, fashion designer Vera Wang promised to create Ariana's wedding garb during the time she dressed the singer for the Met Gala in 2018. The result, as they put it, is simply magical.
"Ariana Grande, to a truly magical muse, what an incredible journey this has been for all of us at Vera Wang," the designer posted. "A joy and an honor! Wishing you and Dalton a lifetime of happiness."
With the help of stylist Mimi Cuttrell, Ariana channeled the grace and beauty of Audrey Hepburn as Jo Stockton in the movie "Funny Face." The "Sweetner" singer wore a "custom lily white silk charmeuse, empire-waist column gown," and finished it off with a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti platform heels and a shoulder-length veil with a satin bow, a hallmark style of the pop music artist. For a dose of sparkle, she wore pearl and diamond earrings by Lorraine Schwartz, matching her engagement ring.
Her groom also brought classic style to the wedding. Looking very dreamy and dapper, Dalton sported a Tom Ford suit for the occasion.
With that Vera dress, Dalton, and her floral fantasy setup, Ariana's wedding looks like a true fairy tale.
