Getting around, supporting your small business, or transporting your family need not be difficult at this time. The Bajaj RE, distributed by Trimotors Technology Corporation, hopes to make getting affordable and practical transport an easy choice with improvements made to its vehicle.
The symmetrical three-wheeler was introduced just a few years ago and already boasts of over 50,000 units sold throughout the country. Trimotors has since expanded its three-wheeler offerings with the addition of new models like the RE Special Edition, Maxima Z, and Maxima Cargo.
For this year, Trimotors hopes to turn the lens back on to the model that started it all, the RE. Many of the improvements are built on further improving the journey.
This starts with the driver. To make the drive much more pleasurable, the RE now comes with redesigned dashboard that now includes a radio and MP3 player. This welcome improvement provides music to drive through, whether from one’s favorite radio station, or MP3 files on a USB or SD card.
The next is improvement is for added safety. The rear passenger cabin now includes a metal door to keep passengers and their valuables inside the cabin.
Another improvement focuses on comfort. The RE gets new ergonomic seats to offer more comfort. The new material is not only more aesthetically pleasing but also easy to clean. It’s paired with a new transparent hood offering rear passengers a view to enjoy while in transit.
Powering the RE is a 198.88cc DTS-I FI engine more than capable of hauling the vehicle and a full load of passengers along. It’s been tuned for quieter operation thanks to a new silencer assembly mounted on the engine crankcase with an enhanced timing chain resulting to minimized noise and vibration.
Trimotors hopes these improvements will further refine the ride, and continue to make the Bajaj RE a top choice for personal or business use.
