Anne Curtis, Karla Estrada seek help for newborn babies who were evacuated from PGH fire


Fire broke out in Philippine General Hospital on May 16, Sunday, around 2 a.m. Photos of newborn babies, among other patients, being evacuated were being shared online. The heartbreaking photos reached the celebrities with moms Anne Curtis, Karla Estrada, and Pokwang posting in their respective social medias, encouraging their followers and fans to help in any way they can as well.

"Hi everyone! Devasted to hear about the fire that hit PGH. My Dream Machine team has spoken to our contact there. I will personally be donating... but will share more details for those who would like to help, too! Stay tuned," Anne Curtis tweeted.

Karla Estrada posted in her Instagram account, "Bayanihan na tayo para PGH na nakaranas ng sunog. Your kind heart is badly needed this time."

Even Poking reposted film director Mae Cruz Alviar's post, "A call for donations for the Philippine General Hospital since it caught fire last night. Details for ways to donate are in the last photo. Lord, please protect the health workers and patients especially the little ones and those who are gravely ill."
