Local airline firm advises passengers of travel restrictions to and from UAE

As part of the stricter measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and its variants, the Philippine government has temporarily restricted the entry of passengers the United Arab Emirates from May 15 until 31.

On the part of the Cebu Pacific, its management said it has already cancelled its flights to and from Dubai on the said time period.

In its advisory, the Cebu Pacific management said it has already started contacting affected passengers through the contact details they provided in the booking. Guests may select their preferred option through the Manage Booking portal on the Cebu Pacific website (http://bit.ly/CEBmanageflight) up to two (2) hours before their flights:

1. Rebook

Unlimited rebooking with no change fee. CEB permanently removed change fees. A minimal fare difference may apply.

2. Travel Fund
Store the amount in a virtual wallet valid for two (2) years and use this to either book a new flight or pay for add-ons (e.g. baggage allowance, seat selection, etc.)

3. Refund
Due to the high volume of requests, the process may take up to seven (7) months from date of request.

The Cebu Pacific, however, stated that it will continue to operate its other domestic and international flights as scheduled.
