Blacklist International kept its winning streak going ahead of the MPL Philippines Season 7 Playoffs after staving off the pesky Nexplay Esports, 2-1, on Saturday, May 15.

Captain-support Jonmar "OhMyV33nus" Villaluna's Popol & Kupa and Edward "EDWARD" Dapadap's Thamuz took charge in lifting Blacklist to a 29-18 win in the deciding Game 3.

OhMyV33nus took down Tristan "Yawi" Cabrera's Khufra in a massive team fight at the bottom lane before picking off James "Jeymz" Gloria's Benedetta who tried to go for a segway at the mid in the 19th minute.

John Paul "H2wo" Salonga's Lancelot stole the Luminous Lord kill with his Thorned Rose plus retribution combo but Blacklist punished him and went on to wipe out the rest of NXP to close out the victory with its signature ring around the Base celebration.

EDWARD served as Blacklist's pseudo-tank in clashes with the help of Jayson "ESON" Gerardo's defensive Diggie.

Game 3 stats

Coach Kristoffer "BON CHAN" Ricaplaza's upper-bracket bound Blacklist seized its fourth straight victory and improved to 29 points on an 11-1 record at the top of Group B.

NXP joined rival Execration at No. 2 in Group B at the moment with 18 points on a 6-7 slate to conclude its Regular Season campaign.

The upper bracket hopes of mentor Setsuna "Dogie" Ignacio's squad remains hanging in the balance as Smart Omega (17 points) is taking on also-ran Laus Playbook Esports at posting time.

NXP tied the series after fending off the feeding Diggie strategy of Blacklist in Game 2 but eventually fell short in the do-or-die game.
