Donnalyn Bartolome took to social media to air footage of what exactly happened at her now-controversial “Last to leave the pool wins 1 million pesos” challenge.
In it Marco Gumabao is seen confronting Donnalyn.
“Paano magiging happy ending, e, nadaya nga kami dito, di ba?” said Marco to Donnalyn.
“Di ba kasi pumunta kami dito. Sabi mo one million, okay, cash prize. Hindi kami mukhang pera, pero kumbaga para sa amin, alam mo yun, pera ito, may matutulungan kami,” he continued. “Tapos, parang umangat lang ako dun, dinaya mo kami na parang ‘O ano out ka na?’ Parang, come on. Ang daya naman ng ganun!”
Tekla then interjected expressing his thoughts as well.
“At tsaka excuse me lang, Miss Donnalyn, I know first time kita na-meet,” he started. “Pumunta kami dito, nag-effort, and then siyempre, talking about one million (pesos), kahit sinong tao, one million, wala talagang aahon kahit magkaduguan na.”
Donita then asked everyone to calm down but Tekla continued ranting.
“Ini-explain ko lang kasi, di ba, nangangatog na yung tuhod ko diyan? Alam mo ba put***ina, takot ako sa ahas. Takot na takot ako. ‘Yan ang pinakatakot ako! Aatakehin ako pero tiniis ko kasi put***na, one million ‘yan, e! Nakakag*go, sa totoo lang, pikon na pikon ako! Ang akin lang dapat pag magpapa-contest ka dapat may rule.”
But later Marco revealed it was all just a prank, which made Donnalyn burst into tears.
“Ito lang masasabi ko. Wag kayong mag-aaway for money,” Marco told viewers.
Then Donnalyn gave P15,000 each to Marco, Tekla, and Donita.
Meanwhile, under the comment section, the actress-model explained that she uploaded the raw clips so everyone can now move on without conflict in their hearts.
“I never looked at this as a competition but a way to make people happy and promote vloggers. My team checked the shots so we can all move on to the last participants. Sorry if you think it’s unfair for me to join, I just thought my subscribers would want to see me compete as their representative to win the 1 Million. If I don’t win.. the other 2 last participants promised to share their 1M if ever they win. Thank you for watching,” she said.
But it seems, the “prank” and “whole drama” didn’t sit well with some netizens.
