Amihan Esports and Fennel Adversity secured their respective seats in the League of Legends: Wild Rift Southeast Asia Icon Series 2021-Summer Season Playoffs after emerging victorious in the Visayas group stage over the weekend.

Amihan stormed through to a perfect campaign, sweeping all its six series to top the three-day, double round robin Visayas tournament that concluded on Sunday night, May 10.

For its part, Fennel finished on the second spot with an impressive 4-2 record ahead of Encore Esports (2-4) and Apoy Esports (0-6).

The two teams punched their tickets to the Summer Playoffs next month where they will take on North Luzon winners Team Secret and Nexplay Esports, South Luzon victors Smart Omega and Liyab Esports as well as the top squads in the upcoming Mindanao group stage.

With each series won granting 75,000 Globe Cup points and each point is equal to a peso, Amihan seized a total of P450,000 while Fennel got P300,000 and Encore took P150,000.

Amihan, composed of KARLLL, Jelson, Mitsura, Demon and Orthros, wrapped up their flawless campaign with dominant sweeps over Encore and Fennel.

Prior to their loss to Amihan, the Fennel squad of Power, Domeng, Sho, Dani and loseyourself drubbed Encore, 2-0, in the final day.

Fiora and Janna came out as the most successful among the frequently picked champions in the Visayas group as they tallied 60 percent win rate while Corki closely trailed behind with 55 percent.
