A man wanted for raping his own sister in Zambales was arrested by authorities on Friday after almost eight years of hiding in Plaridel, Bulacan.
Col. Lawrence B. Cajipe, Bulacan police director, said the suspect, Raymar (surname withheld to protect his victim), was apprehended by police operatives on Cagayan Valley Road in Barangay Tabang, Plaridel.
The arresting team was armed with a warrant issued by Judge Josefina D. Farrales of Regional Trial Court Branch 69 in Iba, Zambales on March 24, 2014 for the crime of rape with no recommended bail.
Raymar, considered as one of the most wanted persons in Zambales, was accused of raping his sister on July 21, 2013 in the municipality of Sta. Cruz. (Freddie C. Velez)
