Has Bea Alonzo not forgiven her former boyfriend Gerald Anderson yet?
In an interview with Edward Barber via MYX Philippines’ “Kwentong Barber” on Kumu, Edward asked Bea: "Have you forgiven?"
Bea answered she's "working" on it. Although no name was mentioned, fans believe the question also referred to Bea's former flame Gerald.
“Siyempre, every day is a new day. Every day brings different feelings, different news, different experiences. So when you feel like you’re already there, meron ka na naman… may bago kang ma-a-absorb. And then, lalayo ka na naman sa goal mo to forgive,” the actress said.
Bea, 33, said she's trying her best to stop feeling resentful.
“So, I’m trying so hard," she said. “But I cannot say I have forgiven fully, but… lalo na kapag hinahanapan mo ng accountability."
“But then I realized, kahit hindi humingi ng tawad, dapat patawarin mo, di ba?… But it’s easier said than done, to be honest.”
In her previous interview, Bea said: “Apart from, of course, the whole infidelity thing and the whole ghosting thing, I think I’m mad at him (Gerald) more because he gaslighted me. I think it was more of that and until now, he’s not holding himself accountable. That’s what really gets me. He has not changed. Not a bit. He was only protecting himself. He’s selfish.”
