Based on a report from the City Health Office (CHO), Olivarez said around 2,100 individuals were administered the Sputnik V jabs on Tuesday (May 4) at the Ayala Malls Manila Bay.

Out of the total number of recipients, more than 1,200 belonged to the A1 (frontline workers) and A3 (persons with comorbidities) categories, while 800 were part of the A2 group (senior citizens).

Olivarez said the city still has around 1,000 Sputnik vaccines left. Paranaque received 3,000 doses of the Russian vaccine from the national government.

The mayor, meanwhile, reminded Paranaque residents that only those who pre-registered online and have received a confirmation message will be vaccinated.

Olivarez’s reminder came after walk-ins flocked to Ayala Malls Manila Bay on Tuesday, May 4.

“Ang system po natin para maging orderly po talaga, naka online register po kayo dapat sa city at makakatanggap po kayo ng text kung kasama po kayo sa bibigyan ng vaccination, (For our system to be orderly, you have to be registered online and you have received a confirmation text that you're included in the vaccination list), ” he told DZMM Teleradyo.

Aside from Sputnik V, the city has also started administering the second dose of SInovac vaccines to its residents.
