Four suspected drug peddlers killed in buy-bust ops in Nueva Ecija


Four suspected drug peddlers were shot dead during separate buy-bust operations that turned into an armed encounter in Nueva Ecija on Monday, May 3.

Citing the report of Nueva Ecija Provincial Director Colonel Jaime Santos, said that the joint forces of Cabanatuan Special Operations Group (CSOG) and Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) operatives of Cabanatuan City police station conducted anti-illegal drugs operation at Purok 1, Brgy. Dalampang, Cabanatuan City which turned into a shootout killing two suspects identified as Dominic Estillore Yabut, of Brgy. Bantug Norte, Cabanatuan City, and Jesus Valino Pelmoka, of Brgy. Aduas Centro, Cabanatuan City.

Recovered were 1 Smith and Wesson cal. 38 revolver without serial number; 1 cal. 45 pistol, homemade, without serial number; 15 pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu with an approximated weight of more or less 11 grams with estimated street value to more or less P 75,000; P500.00 marked money and other illegal drugs paraphernalia.

Meanwhile, operatives of the San Jose City police station also conducted ant- illegal drug operation at Sitio Cumabol, Brgy.
Caanawan, San Jose City, Nueva Ecija which also turned into a shootout resulting in the deaths of another two suspects.

Police identified the slain suspects as John Partric Lozano alias "JP", and Christian De Jesus, both residents of Paniqui, Tarlac. Recovered from the slain suspect were 2 calibers .38 revolvers (homemade) without serial number; 1 heat-sealed transparent sachet containing suspected shabu with an estimated weight of 5 grams; 1 matte gray Yamaha NMAX Motorcycle without plate number and 2 helmets.

B/General Valeriano T. De Leon, PRO3 Regional Director said that Central Luzon police will continue to launch operations as maximized efforts are being carried out to wipe out all forms of illegal drugs if not, stop the proliferation of illegal drugs in the region.
