35K individuals vaccinated vs. COVID-19 in Pasig City

Over 35,000 individuals in Pasig City have been vaccinated against COVID-19, Mayor Vico Sotto said, Tuesday night (May 4).

Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto

“We have hit the 35,000-mark for 1st dose vaccinations,” the mayor posted on Twitter.

Sotto appealed to his constituents not to arrive too early at their designated vaccination sites so the area would not be congested.

The city is strictly implementing a no walk-in policy at inoculation sites to properly enforce health and safety protocols.

“Kung 10 to 11 a.m. ang window na tinext sa inyo, kahit past 10 a.m. dumating, ok lang  (If your scheduled time is 10 to 11 a.m., it is okay for you to arrive at the venue past 10 a.m.),” he said.

“Kung may appointment, pumunta po tayo, sayang ang slot (Please arrive if you have been reserved a slot).”

The mayor said Pasig City will not yet open a new vaccination site as long as there is still no enough supply of COVID-19 vaccines.

So far, Sotto said the registration for the COVID-19 inoculation in the city is going smoothly.

But, in case there is an error, he said the public may contact the local government at #72744 (PLDT/Smart/TNT/Sun) or 86430000.

“Kung wala pang natatanggap na text at ilang linggo na ang nakalipas mula nung nag-update ng profile, please call our hotline ("If you haven't received a text message yet and it's been a few weeks since you updated your profile online, please call our hotline)."
