Sinas loses 72 lbs in 5 months, encourages successor to continue physical fitness

Outgoing Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Debold Sinas lost 72 pounds since he went on a strict diet and exercise when he assumed the top police post in November last year.

This means that the physical fitness program which he launched under the tune of Voltes 5 is working, according to Sinas.

Outgoing Chief PNP Gen. Debold Sinas flexes his 72-pound-less body during Monday's, May 3, press briefing at Camp Crame.

In a press briefing on Monday, May 3, Sinas also presented 20 volunteer cops who underwent weight reduction program called “Oplan Chubby Anonymous” for overweight cops.

“I'm encouraging them and who will be the next Chief PNP to continue the program by the word Chubby Anonymous. My program is five months kaya so I went out to encourage them (the volunteer cops) because after eight weeks or two months they already lost 22 kilos,” said Sinas.

“I’m very proud of what we’ve done in the Chubby Anonymous. Just like what I did, they would feel good and they would be more presentable,” said Sinas, adding that the target of the program are obese cops.

He also encouraged all PNP personnel to continue doing the four-minute exercise in the morning and in the afternoon.

The four-minute exercises is held every 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. under the tune of Voltes 5 official soundtrack. Voltes 5 is Sinas’s favorite cartoon program.

Sinas is set to retire on May 8. President Duterte is yet to announce his successor.
