NOVELETA, Cavite - With community quarantine protocols restricting social gathering, the municipal government found new ways to foster an atmosphere of celebration in time for their town fiesta on Monday (May 3).
The local government unit held a community "pan-tea" on May 1, offering free cups and bottles of milk tea to residents after mass.
The LGU also conducted a house-to-house delivery of roast chicken on May 2, encouraging people to celebrate the town fiesta safely in their homes.
“Abangan ang house-to-house delivery sa inyong barangay! (Wait for the house-to-house delivery in your barangay)," Mayor Dino Reyes-Chua posted on his Facebook page. "Ang tunay na diwa ng kapistahan ay ang 'salo-salo' ng buong pamilyang nagkakaisa (The true essence of the town fiesta is having united families partaking of blessings together)."
