Singer-actress Geneva Cruz is completely heartbroken over the loss of her mom and her aunt to COVID-19 only 10 days apart.

On Instagram, Cruz said that “complications from COVID-19 took my two favorite people away only ten days apart.”

A few days ago, Cruz Geneva mourned the death of her mother who was tested positive for COVID-19.

In another Instagram post, Cruz paid tribute to her late aunt.

“Our beloved Tita Flor passed away this morning. My cousins and I are grateful to be treated like family by her, and we are beyond blessed to have spent so much time with her growing up. Most of my favorite memories were made at her house and some during many of our out-of-town vacations organized by her,” she wrote last April 29.

She described her aunt as “kind, intelligent, classy, and the real definition of a strong, independent woman.”

“Her family was her life. She loved her friends. She loved music and dancing. She was full of life, love, and so much laughter,” Cruz added.

Cruz extended her condolences to the Constantino family.

“We love you, Tita Flor. Somehow I could imagine you and mama laughing while dancing in heaven. Rest In Paradise,” she ended.
