CAVITE CITY, Cavite–The local government unit (LGU) here announced that it would provide cash assistance to college students in the city amid the pandemic.
In a Facebook announcement, the city government said students are required to submit a Barangay Certificate of Residency as well as their school registration form or school ID card showing their enrolment in the current semester.
Registration for the cash aid is on-going with the payout scheduled in the first week of May.
Meanwhile, students of the two biggest college institutions in the city, San Sebastian College - Recoletos De Cavite and Cavite State University - Cavite City Campus, need not go through the registration process as the schools have already forwarded the lists of their Cavite City resident students to the LGU.
